Being in a team and interacting with it correctly, a person is able to achieve more than alone. I remain true to these principles now
I was born and raised in Karaganda. From the age of three, I spent a lot of time in different extracurricular activities. Mom and Dad worked a lot, grandpa and grandma too, so they took me in the morning to the Palace of Pioneers, as it was called then. And I spent almost the whole day there.
I went to English classes, choir, swimming, a young naturalists' club... But one of the classes that influenced me the most was basketball. I brought many of my friends with me. At some point, my cousin also started playing with us.
I think this was an important time for me, since it was then that the sense of team play was instilled in me.
On the basketball court, even the coolest player is not able to make a game alone; he must be able to share the ball, feel the rhythm, think quickly and make decisions. I remain true to these principles now. Being in a team and interacting with it correctly, a person is able to achieve more than alone.
helpingUsually in sports sections there are older and younger players, there are those who are better and worse. And on this basis, conflicts can arise. But on our team, everyone was extremely friendly. No one clung to anyone because of their abilities, height, weight, and so on.
helpingAnd even during competitions, in which we most often lost, we managed to maintain this attitude. Everyone understood that they had a great time, united as a team, playing for joy, for fun.
I think this is due to the fact that we had a very competent coach, Nina Aleksandrovna. Unfortunately, she is no longer with us. She instilled in us discipline and a respectful attitude towards each other.
Did you see that the coach who met us today told us to change into our shoes? And I went into the hall in socks, because I remembered these rules.
I don't have any negative memories of this place, I'm talking about the Palace of Pioneers
I remember with warmth all the teachers who surrounded the children with care. It was a stronghold of goodwill and calm, and here I was taught many basic things related to human relationships.
