When everyone contributes and plays for the same goal, trust develops,
and you feel you’re not alone

We’re from Atyrau. It’s a city with jobs, opportunities, and solid prospects, but it also has its nuances — the climate and ecology.

What makes it special is the people: they’re friendly, and the sense of community is strong, so it’s a place where you can live calmly and grow.

helpingFrom the outside we might seem a bit tough — we’re used to telling the truth straight to your face, and our dialect is a bit rough — but we never leave a friend in trouble. Our childhood and teenage years were active: we spent most of our time outside playing football with friends, but we always tried to do well at school. We got used early on to balancing studying, sport, and extra activities. We’ve always liked trying different things.

Amanzhan’s parents aren’t particularly into sports, but his older brother was passionate about football. Amanzhan played in the yard with his brothers a lot. He was pretty good at it, so he decided to take football more seriously
and passed the selection for the youth team of FC Atyrau.

helpingSanzhar, you could say, comes from a football family. His parents, older brother, and sister — all of them are into football in one way or another. His dad didn’t support a particular club, but he never missed great matches in Europe’s top leagues. His brother is a devoted Chelsea fan, his sister supports Barcelona, and Sanzhar himself cheers for Real Madrid.

At that time there still wasn’t a team for his age group, but after that training session the coach decided to open tryouts. That’s how Sanzhar became the first player on the team, and its captain. That’s where it all began.

When he was six, he asked to join his brother at a training session with FC Atyrau’s youth team. It was winter — and winters in Atyrau are harsh — but Sanzhar felt so confident with the ball that he even took part in some of the team drills.

Bekzat tried many different sports from karate to hockey, but football turned out to matter most. His father also loves football. There’s one story we always laugh about: in the academy, Bekzat was too right-footed. His dad noticed, put a bucket on his right foot, and made him train using only his left. After that, Beka started using his left foot much more often.

Surprisingly, he immediately started threading great passes, winning tackles,
and battling in the middle. And now, Amonya most often plays as a forward.

There’s a funny story about Amanzhan: back then we weren’t playing together — we were playing against each other. He started out as a goalkeeper, and one day his coach tried him in central midfield, one of the toughest positions in football.

Bekzat plays as a defender, but he’s very versatile, so he can play further up as well. Who’s the best among us? Honestly, each of us brings something and plays at a high level. But Sancho definitely stands out: there’s a reason he’s our top scorer.

Sanzhar most often played — and still plays — as a classic “number 10”, just behind the striker. His job is to create danger: take on defenders, take risks, and deliver the final pass. And he loves assists more than goals.

helpingWe’re inspired by Kazakhstani footballers who show real character and a drive to succeed. One of them is Bauyrzhan Islamkhan, a well-known player and former captain of Kazakhstan’s national team. He’s a very technical and smart player, and at the same time he’s hardworking and disciplined.

helpingAnd of course, in the heart of every guy there’s a place for Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi: their dedication and hunger to win have been motivating millions for 20 years. And if we’re talking about inspiration, we love creative players, the ones who bring joga bonito into football: Mesut Özil, Santi Cazorla, Ronaldinho and others.

We all ended up at inDrive through work and shared interests. At first, it was just a professional environment, but over time we found common passions — football included. That’s how our corporate team was formed: a team where we support each other and represent the company at tournaments.

helpingWe've won plenty of tournaments at the amateur level since childhood, but one moment with the inDrive team really stands out: we took first place in the Silver Division of the Brands League in Almaty. Lifting the cup together as a team is an incredible feeling — it stays with you for a long time and genuinely motivates you to keep moving forward. Overall, playing together with colleagues is pure joy.

For us, it’s more than a game: football gives us energy, teaches us to set goals and not give up. Thanks to football, we’ve learned to make quick decisions and stay focused — and that helps at work and in life. You could say sport has become our engine.

Football teaches you to work together, to understand each other without words, and to support your team in any situation. It builds discipline, responsibility, and perseverance, and it develops leadership. It’s also a way to make friends and enjoy working together toward a common goal.

The values that hold a team together on the pitch are just as important
in our work at inDrive: fair play and respect, responsibility for one
another, the ability to listen and move in sync, and the courage
to take initiative and see things through.

helpingWhen everyone contributes and plays for the same goal, trust develops, and you feel you’re not alone. That’s exactly how we want to work every day: as a team that supports each other, grows, and wins together.
